Scope note: All Hearthline sessions are educational and organisational in nature. Nothing produced constitutes counselling, legal advice, or any arrangement binding on either party. Where counselling or legal input is needed, Hearthline refers families to appropriately qualified professionals.

What Hearthline Provides

Three services, each producing written materials the family keeps. Scope is organisational and educational throughout.

Handover note template setup

Handover Note & Routine Template Setup

A ninety-minute appointment that produces a printed and digital handover note, a weekly routine sheet in your family's own wording, a shared contact card, and a short protocol for recording changes. All materials belong entirely to the family. Organisational only — no counselling, no legal work.

  • Fixed-field handover note with date, items, routines, contacts
  • Weekly routine sheet in plain language
  • Shared contact card — schools, clinics, activity providers
  • Change-recording protocol to remove reliance on memory
Coordinating across two households workshop

Coordinating Across Two Households Workshop

Five group sessions (up to 14 adults) covering shared calendar structures, neutral-language routine writing, factual logkeeping, predictable handover notes, and monthly reviews. Includes a printed workbook, a template pack, and one follow-up session eight weeks later. All examples are anonymised. Organisational and educational only.

  • Shared calendar structures that work across both homes
  • Neutral-language routine writing
  • Factual logkeeping without commentary
  • Printed workbook and template pack included
Family coordination programme

Family Coordination Programme

A twelve-month arrangement providing template setup, a shared calendar with change protocol, a document index, monthly check-ins and quarterly review meetings. A handover pack ensures any adult in the family can take over coordination at short notice. Everything is administrative and non-binding. Counselling, representation, negotiation and legal process fall outside scope and are referred appropriately.

  • Template setup appointment included
  • Shared calendar with written change protocol
  • Document index for school, identity and household papers
  • Monthly checks, quarterly reviews, handover pack

Why Written Arrangements Make a Difference

These are practical observations about how written tools compare with informal verbal ones. Scope remains organisational and educational throughout.

One place for the details

A completed handover note means both homes are working from the same list rather than a different memory of last week's conversation.

Fewer repeated conversations

A change protocol written down once removes the need to re-agree the same question each fortnight.

Predictable for children

Routines written in plain language and kept in the same place each week give children a stable reference that does not shift with adult stress.

Anyone can step in

A document index and handover pack mean a grandparent, carer or school can find the right contact without asking one parent to speak to the other.

Templates you own

All materials produced in sessions belong to the family. They can be updated, printed and shared without returning to Hearthline.

Scheduled reviews rather than ad-hoc ones

Monthly calendar checks and quarterly review meetings replace the habit of re-opening arrangements during a difficult week.

Common Questions

What exactly does a session produce?

Each session produces written materials — a handover note template, a routine sheet, a contact card and a change-recording protocol. Everything is printed and supplied digitally. The templates belong to the family and can be updated independently afterwards.

Does a session need both adults to attend?

No. The template setup appointment works with one adult present. The workshop is open to any adult coordinating children's routines across two homes, and participants do not need to know one another.

Is this counselling or legal advice?

No. Hearthline's work is organisational and educational. Nothing produced in any session constitutes counselling, a legal document, or a binding arrangement. Where those services are needed, Hearthline refers families to appropriately qualified professionals.

How long does the template setup appointment take?

The Handover Note and Routine Template Setup is a ninety-minute appointment. The workshop runs across five sessions. The twelve-month Family Coordination Programme includes the setup appointment, then monthly and quarterly meetings throughout the year.

What are the fees?

The Handover Note and Routine Template Setup is RM 480. The five-session workshop is RM 1,850 including workbook and template pack. The twelve-month Family Coordination Programme is RM 4,500. All amounts are in Malaysian Ringgit. Payment details are confirmed at booking.

Are the templates confidential?

Yes. Nothing discussed or produced in a session is shared with any third party without your written agreement. Workshop examples are anonymised and generic — no participant's situation is discussed in class.

Where are sessions held?

Sessions take place at our office at No. 33, Jalan Metro Perdana Barat, Taman Usahawan, 52100 Kuala Lumpur. Remote appointments may be available for the template setup; please ask when you make contact.
